well i guess this SHOULD be in the watchers keep discussion but that one seems to be getting more conversational and i need some hard answers lol
but wow.. this whole dungeon was pretty straight forward untill i met this * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * cambion, and i think that the deck does different stuff the second time if you get good or bad the first time, but i dont know if it changes in relevance to what he had lol. im betting there is a detailed page just on this somewhere out there, anybody care to help? im sure i won't be the only one benefitting from this lol..thanks alot ![]()

OK, did a little search and came up with this:
http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursga...manythings.php Be warned that there is a spoiler in there. And if you want, you can just kill the cambion...you get XP for that and still get the gem for the scepter/deck of many things. Beware of the deck, it has good/bad outcomes. Some of them give a nice XP boost, ahem, very nice XP boost ![]()

If you kill Aesgerath (sp?), do you get the Spectral B.?

Oh. Darn. My Fighter/Mage is using Axes and Long Swords, though, so it doesn't really matter...I have way too much gp, anyway.

It's a very good sword, and it works sort of like Ras; you can summon a dancing blade. It also has another nice modifier, but I don't recall what it was.

It always puzzles me why people decline to gamble for the items, then PP the Cambion for the DoMT before the final gamble and get more XP for being a nice rational guy.

Yup The sword is worth the gamble alone. Anyway, if you lose a certain item, it's still win-win.
