Why tactics, of course. Stock standard SoA is no fun at all.

That reminds me, how are you going with your solo tactics no-save project?

Andrewas, you're a genius. You've saved me considerable belly-achin' but there's just one question. Windows won't let me edit the file. Do i need IEEP or something similar?

[Edit: Nevermind, i got it.]

OK. You click on the file, and windows asks which program to use, yes? Simply choose notepad or whatever your favorite *plaintext* editor is. (Anyone caught using Word for this gets shot). Paste the above code in, and save it. You might wind up with a text file with extension .2da.txt rather than just.2da . And the .txt part would be hidden. I love windows...

Go into the view menu, properties, somewhere in there theres an option "hide known file types". Uncheck that, and make sure the file has extension .2da . Ignore the warning windows gives you about changing the extension making files unusuable, windows was designed for half-wits that dont know what their doing.

Of course, its a lot simpler in DOS, but you have to type in the contents by hand. NI would let you do it with no bother at all, but no sense in downloading it just for this one minor job.

How do you mean "disappearing"? I know the edit limit is just 15-50 minutes. I really hate this but "manhwolikesgames" was a good example why the limit is good.

About 5-10 minutes after logging on, whenever i try to view or edit a page on IW, i'm presented with a "cannot find server" message. If i leave explorer and come back to IW a few minutes later it works fine. It's never happened before and it's pissing me off.

I didn't know the edit limit was that short. How long has it been like that?
