I dunno how long He'd last in my party, Kaldorn probably praying for his soul while Sarevok gets ready to remove Yakmans head! While Yakman chases Boo around trying to eat Him while Minsc stands around talking as if Boo is there talking Him what a clever giant space Hamster he is for going invisable!

as far as a crazy female for the party, how about edwina (I know his... afliction is cleared up by the time you get to ToB, but you can do watchers keep in SoA)

as far as him remaining sane, Heal permanently removes any infirmity of the mind or body (curing damage -until it is dealt again, healing all insanities, reoving scars, etc), given the proper stimuli he could go insane again, but it would be a new condition, not likely to have the same effects, unless all stimuli were identical

You know... you COULD make Tamorlin a Wild Mage, thus making a Wild Mage NPC that is conspicuous by his/her absence. Just an idea.
