Don't want to spoil so I'll keep it short.
Should I use the sword or just sell it? |

I sold it mainly because it causes more problems then I could handle at the time...that and Minsc was the only one in my party who could use it...and he already had Beserker, so there was no point.

I really would sell it, Jan. Sure it's +3 which may seem great, and it is arguably the most powerful sword in the game. Problem is, it will make the wielder go beserk at the strangest moments, making them lethal and unpredictable, as he or she will be out of control and start attacking your own party members. Get rid of it

Some cursed items can actually be twisted into GOOD items; One famous example of this is the PnP Cursed Shield of Attraction: All missile weapons fired by enemy creatures would automatically be aimed at the bearer of this shield. You could tweak this to your advantage by giving the Shield to your Tank: Suddenly, all those Hobgoblin Elites can't shoot at your Mage anymore. Huzzah!
But I doubt we'll ever see a cursed WEAPON that could be useful. The Berserker Sword would be useful only if you were soloing, because you have no fellow party members to get in the way of your blade. Even so, there are 2 great gaping problems: 1) Whenever ANY enemy is within your sight range, you go Berserk and have NO control of your character whatsoever. You can't even tell them to drink a Healing Potion. 2) You cannot select any other equipped Quick Weapon--so if you wanted to shoot something with your Bow, tough.

I am under the impression that if you use a cursed sword then to set it down or to change weapons is impossible without a remove curse spell. Am I wrong?
By the way I sold it in Beregost.

Any cursed items. When you see the little word "cursed" the should go off.
