Pfft, Anomen can beat Viconia flat in a one on one brawl.

Having had him in my party for a bit now, I can't really say I understand why people hate him so much. Even at his arrogant worst he's just about equal with Keldorn (I really do like Keldorn, but he DEFINITELY doesn't have the 20th century tolerance thing going on).

Keldorn is an Inquisitor. Read up on the real-life Spanish Inquisitors to find out more about their intolerance. Keldorn is a charming gentle soul compared to them.

Inquisitor in BGII has different conotations, however. In a world where magic actually EXISTS, it would have to.

However, D&D Inquisitors are inspired by RL ones.

I never thought I would asee the day when I would defend arrogant, pompous Anomen, but seeing what kind of childhood he had, I can understand why he is how he is. After a while into the romance (especially if it goes the "good" way), he's not so bad, so Reeka tells me. You just have to be prepared to put up with the annoying version long enough to get there.

Ofcourse Anomen is going to be snobby, he is from a wealthy family and was educated very well. he is superior then most of the NPC in BG2...
Also, Anomen is a very good character!!!
