I am in Sendai Enclave. I went to the open room on the right, killed the drow to get the key to open the two sealed doors on the left. The one with the spiders was fairly easy. It is the one with the berzerkers that is really too much. It is not that I have any problem killing them, it is that there seems to be no end to them and the ogers. Three and four keep appearing behind me, as soon as I kill them, more appear behind me. They come in 4-5 at a time in front of me at the same time. I kill them all off and more appear. I think she ran out of berzerkers, but the same is happening with the ogers. Does this battle ever end? I have yet to make any real forward progress beyond the door due to the sheer numbers being thrown at me. Is this battle supposed to be like this?

Yes.
. . . . . . . . Okay, okay... a bit more detail. Just push forward and it will eventually end. Alternatively, you can just skip it and go through the spider route( but it is less rewarding). [ 10-20-2002, 01:46 PM: Message edited by: Dundee Slaytern ] |

![]() The Beserker battle is tough since they do come in infinite waves. The key issue here as Dundee said is to keep pushing forward. Don't wait until you've slain every one on the screen before you do, just clear a path and move your *whole* party forward. As you move forward you trigger new spawn points meaning they will appear where your party are, rather than at the very start of the area. |

Just to clarify. What I meant was,

I really like the tunnels...
Pretty basic tactic: First, download a decent script for your summons (gMinion springs to mind). Enter the tunnels. Turn AI on. Summon about 5-10 Skeleton Warriors. Position them in a circle around your party. When you see they're starting to attack the enemy, you can do whatever you like. Go grab something to eat... Take a bath... Go play Basketball... Let your imagination loose. ![]()

lol, the tunnels were my fav part. it was fun, and I found that my party handled it well, make em stick together. I had two tanks form a rear guard, mages in the middle, and PC and clerics at the front.

... CHARGE!!!! The duergars are only finite if you move forward. If you stay at your starting location, they spawn indefinitely. You can kill so many duergars, neo-orcs and such that you will run out of space even if you have 2 Bag of Holdings. ![]() |

Hmmmm... I guess a trigger got set off when you succeed in reaching the other side. Did you enter the Duergar tunnel from the entrance, or the exit? Entering through the exit will cause the Duergars to not spawn indefinitely.
