Try gateing and summoning in some help, and definitely use the crom faeyr if you have it.

True enough. Fire Giants are incredibly tough melee opponents and they have no real weaknesses. Cold Magic is probably the way to go with them. Usualy i just take two tanks and beat them up one at a time, with ample rests in between.

They move pretty slowly .. so missile weapons are a good thing
