You couldn't possibly mean Micah Foehammer. Micah would never condone trashing a newbie simply for expressing their opinion.
Misunderstandings I sense in here. SixOfSpades was referring that Micah found his reply funny. We did not trash the newcomer, we were both laughing at SixOfSpades' response and appreciating his cheekiness and dry wit.

Morgan,

Don't you dare erase that reply! (As a mother of three teen boys and a soon-to-be-teen girl), I agree whole-heartedly with your assessment of today's teens and their idea of what constitutes an education. All but one of ours is/was home-schooled, so they don't fall under the general umbrella and it becomes extremely evident which one is public-schooled when you listen closely to them talking amongst themselves. Having said that, why isn't this in GD rather than here?

Still, I agree with Micah and Six---who cares (about the All-Mighty sword of Whatsis)? Give me a bow any day .

ROFL, not sure how old all of you are .. but I believe this is whats called the Generation-gap, and a wee bit of prejudice too ...
A couple a examples in your vicinity, dont make it a general truth.
So lets not try to go with the whole, youth is bad-hype on TV and start thinking for ourselves a little bit. Lets nog forget that most actions of the previous generation of youngsters were disapproved of too.
I'm pretty sure my over-all knowledge of Math, chemistry, Fysics and such outmatches most elder people, which is logical, since i come into contact with it, 5 days a week.
And, nothing personal, but people who point at things such as Rap-music as the cause of the apparent demise of society, need to look in the mirror...
We in Holland have a commercial on TV, it allways ends with :
You, are the society .. ( its sounds a whole lot better in dutch, you could roughly compare it with : "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do fo your country")

Calling the whole youth sh**.. or the whole of america , or the whole islam, or the whole of anything else for that matter ... is simplistic and discriminating.

I understand that reading the posts of Powergamers and cheaters gets a little annoying once in a while, but this guy's new .. and he has no idea the sword has been discussed a 100 times over.

Anywayz, i guess we're ( me definetly) making a too big point of this .. im getting agitated because of a funny reply

P.s. Plz dont mind the grammar, im just dutch and not that good at typing

Guess that means we gotta play nice, boys.

Math, chemistry, physics? YUCK! YOu can have them with all my blessings!

Actually Septfox has been creating specialty items lately that are pretty good. None so uber as the Sword of Death +90, of course, but quite efficient just the same. Once we get back online, hopefully he'll post a couple at TeamBG for others to use if desired.

Oh, no worries on that count--as long as it's understandable (or at least decodeable), no one gets yelled at, the most people will do is ask for clarification. I mean, take Lanthir: Sometimes some of her posts are really muddled (like she didn't bother to correct any typos), but we can usually decrypt them and find she's making a valid point. It was Kain's attitude, coupled with his style, that irritated me: Ignorance alone is OK, but the coupling of ignorance and arrogance gets on my nerves. (His sig of "I will ruel the world" is the perfect example.)

But if you say you're sorry, then so do I.

don't worry about it, this is a good forum with friendly people. This is the first time I have ever seen anyone have a go at someone, so just ignore it and have fun, most of us on here could't care what your grammer was like as long as you get into the spirit of things, have fun and make new friends then we are happy
