How do romances start do you nead charisma or what if so why hasn't my bard fallen in love

Has he taken a shower in the past couple of months? Did your bard have a troubled relationship with a parent and thus cannot bond with other sentient beings?

What race is your bard? That will have the most to do with it. With whom is your bard trying to have a romance? What choices has your bard made so far regarding that romance? More details, please.

Have you started a new game in ToB, or are you continuing from SoA?

If you started in ToB, you can't have a romance, because romences don't initiate in ToB. You can only start one in SoA and then continue it in ToB.

True. The only preconditions thatI know of are:
1. Must be human, half-elf, or elven, but
2, Viconia won't Romance a Surface Elf.
There could be others about Anomen and Aerie, but I wouldn't know.

Well, then. How far into the game are you? Do you have either Jaheira or Viconia in you party? Have you always been supportive and understanding of Aerie? You haven't partaken of any of the upstairs going-on in the Copper Coronet, have you? What is the value for the AerieRomanceActive variable?

I think somethings wrong aerie started taking about how fed up she was on earth i tried all combinations of things to say but all of them end with her saying she doesn't want to talk to me again

that happens, just stick with the romance and she will keep talkin to you, shes just pulling normal girl things and getting all emotional, shes my fav romance but sometimes i just wanted to kill her =)
