Baldur's Gate - the movie

I think that making a movie based on the computergame Baldur's Gate would be a great idea. Would you watch such a movie if was made??

Yeah, but honestly, who would get really enjoy watching some stupid party get their asses kicked over and over, followed by the "Loading Game" screen?

I'd probably watch it, but it would be very hard to make it a good movie I guess. Look at the cockup they made of the D&D movie. "BG - the movie" would require not only great special effects but also great writing.
As long as it hasn't been made I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt though. It could be done; let someone try it.

I hope you guys haven't missed Dungeons and Dragons movie..

I was a bit sceptic when I first heard aboute it cause like other fantasy movies I thought it would be a bit B made.

But this one is great!!
The evil mage are as crazy as he should be and the Beholders would even scare Bhaal himself

And for Saervok, Arnold Schwarzager (I have no idea how to spell it lol) with somebody else's voice dubed in. Keldorn should be played by Sean Connery as well... He's likely made to look like him too.

The idea for the BG movie is awesome. I think it would be cool if you cut out the loading screen but think about what the rating would be like. Maybe rated R for violence. I didn't see all of the D&D movie but i think it could have been better.

Well I think it would be easiest to do it in computer graphics... Then just get the voice actors who worked on the BG games to come back and do the voices... Easy solution, probibly cheaper too.

Not that I think a game being converted to a movie works... Hasn't in the past
