I`ve cleared out the Cloakwood mines, got the key that opens the flood plug, and seen Rill about saving the slaves.
After being told what a nice chap I am in a dream sequence, I`ve left the mine area expecting to be able to get into Baldurs Gate.
But I can`t. That area is still shaded out.
What have I done wrong?
My wife is threatening divorce if I don`t come back in to the real world, but how can I, when I`m so near to the end?
Please help me save my marriage and stop me going mad by helping me solve this problem (the game, not the wife).
Cheers,
David

Have you tried to go to the area above the friendly arm inn and then uppwords towards the bridge map? From there on just go up the bridge and talk to the guard and keep going and your in!you will find a guy named quale or something standing neer the entrance.

From the Friendly Arm go North twice (if the Ankegs will let you). Walk onto the bridge, and the drawbridge should be down for you. You have a lot of the game still ahead of you!

Yeh, you need to go north from the Friendly Arm in. It took me ages to find out how to do this bit. You need to leave by the top edge of a map if you want to reveal a map to your north and so on, so make sure you are leaving the maps by the top or whatever edge you want to head towards Baldurs Gate.

Oh, and as some othr people on this board have already said - you are only just over half way through....

Enjoy!
