Try a Kensai and Dual to a thief at level 9. When you get "Use Any Item" skill, you will see what I mean. This is one nasty critter in combat! Or go straight fighter so you can chuck on armor in battles earlier. Either way, having that backstab multiplier and 5 profs in a weapon makes for some fun chopping.

Even better try a fighter dualed to an Assasin (use SK to set the subclass assasin while still a fighter)

But this brings up an intresting question that I have been meaning to ask:

At what level do Multiclass fighter/thief's gain special abilities? Someone said that they start getting them much earlier on (like 15th for a fighter) - just imagine having critical strike and assasination w/ +5 backstab using katanas like Hindo's doom & Celestial Fury dual wield + fire giant belt (200+ hit everytime each hit - multiple hits, like 800+ a round). I don't currently have the game installed so would someone who has the game installed and SK please test this out to see what level you start getting special ablities for this multiclass, and when for each class?

In the multclass example I mentioned using Assination obviates the need to "set up" for a back stab - I think you get 10 seconds and ALL hits will be based on your backstab multiplier (x5). If Critical Hit works with Assasination then ALL of your hits will backstabed at their maximum (again like 800+ a round).

(Order of operation: critical hit, assasination, attack opponent - and kill it really quickly.)

Ummmmm, this forum really needs a spell checker for idiots like myself - that was supposed to be Assasination (or perhaps even this is spelled incorrectly) - not ASSination.

Oh, BTW who ever will be kind enough to see if it works please try it in both TOB and Amn (with TOB installed) - and see if there are any differences. I suggest a HalfOrc with 19 str., 18 dex., 19 con.
