Experience Reduction

I am playing SOA, with TOB installed. I have heard starting TOB, reduces your experience points to 2 million. Some people in my party are already over 3 million. Will I lose my levels, spells, or abilities, when I import the game into TOB? Or will the experience points just go down, not effecting anything else?

I don't think it actually reduces your exp, just bumps you to 2 million if you haven't already gotten there.

If you have already installed the game, and you are still at 3 million, then there is not a problem, is there? And if it does, then you can always cheat the numbers back in like you did to get to 3 million to begin with.

It is installed. But I have not finished SOA. The Experience reduction would occur when I started the TOB portion of the game(if there is a drop).

Someone was saying it reduced his experience to 2 million, when he started. Can I get this confirmed or Denied? The message board seems to be having problems, so I am having a problem locating the original post, if it was even on this board. Has anyone started with high level characters? Did your experience drop?

Ok, I just tested it out. And it does not seem to drop the experience on imported games. Possibly what the guy was talking about, was imported characters, not whole games.

It did not reduce my XP when I imported my game. However, I read in a review, that ToB will start characters (new, NPC's, etc...) at 2.5M XP, or about the amount you would have if you played through SoA.
