Sheesh, they upgraded and downgraded the flail of the ages...

old flail:
Combat Abilities: Target will be slowed on each hit (no saving throw)
THACO: +3 bonus
Damage: 1D6 + 4, +1 Acid Damage, +1 Cold Damage, +1 Fire Damage
Damage type: crushing
Weight: 10
Speed Factor: 4
Proficiency Type: Flail/Morningstar
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 13 Strength
Not Usable By:
Druid
Mage
Thief
Monk
Beast Master

so the new one helps it out but removes the automatic slow... :/
Main reason I liked using it was a hit from it allways slowed down what ever you were fighting, now it looks like I will only get a 33% chance to slow.
Bummer. But haveing a +5 axe (with 10% chance of death ) and the new flail will make my bezerker pretty nasty. Evil beware! Buttkickin Bezerker and friends coming threw!

Any upgrades for throwing axes or throwing daggers or what not?

Oh, one more thing, when you install ToB do you loose all the mods? If so I may wait till mods are made, i don't want to loose my weapons patch especially. That and the level 50 exp and ADnD rules pack and alot of stuff from baldurdash...

There are some nice throwing daggers and axes in ToB, that I can tell you about later (I am at work now...), but no upgrades on any.

Jimbo, if you've installed any third-party patches or mods, read this thread as it will be very relevant to you, unless you want to go through the frustration of installing and uninstalling BG2 and ToB to try to get it to work.

When I post something that says "Important" you can bet it's important.

Actually, the first one had a percentage chance to slow as well (I do not remember the percentage, but I believe it was below 33%).

here's the first item i made (umm..if everyone was able to make it upon meeting cespenard, please forgive me). thanks for the absolutely wonderful listing. now i know not to throw away some of this really odd stuff i am finding!

*ingredients*
cloak of protection
2 scrolls of improved invisibility
2 scrolls of improved haste
20,000 gp

*finished product*
improved cloak of protection +2

cast improved haste once/day
cast improved invis once/day

ac: +2 bonus
saving throw: +2 bonus
weight: 3 lbs
