. . . . . . . . . . . . . OK, so i went into the drow compound to toast one of the other children of bhaal. No problem, i tore them a new one. Then i went on to the next strong hold (for them) and encountered Draconis. The son of a Also, i cant seem to find the wand things to get to the 3rd level of the watchers keep dungeon, and no one bothered to help me w/ my last post, so ill ask again. ------------------ Awww geez, not another chaotic neutral? SPOILER !
. . . . . . . . . At this point, all your party should have boots of speed. When he became the dragon, just run out of his sight and prepare. With boot of speed, you should have no problem running away. Actually, I think dragons in ToB are quite easy since your party are high level. All I did was charging them to death, hehe. Btw, I have finished ToB with a heavily melee party and I think if you want it to be easy, go with melee. This was my party: me(monk) Keldorn Minc Korgan Seravok Aerie About the wand thing, I cant remmber how i found it. Maybe in the madman's room. Well, i dont think i have anyone over level 21, so im not sure how much that makes a difference. Even when i do prepare he casts heal after i get him down to near death, and i cant interrupt his spell casting. Even my mighty Cavalier with the Carsomyr +6 is having trouble.

Ok, so thats the problem.
Maybe you should try to level up and get more new abilities. Greater whirwind helps a lot. My monk had 5 greater whirwind attacks when i met Draconis. Summon Deva could be useful too. |

* * * * * * * * * * * the wands are actually easy to get, start in the air room, kill the elementals, be careful of the chain lightening spell that goes off every so often. move to the poison room, then the ice room, then the fire room, make sure you have all the notes in order to get through the last two rooms, otherwise the enemies are are like Yaga-Shura, invincible ------------------ "Life is like shoving a grenade up a chickens ass and seeing how far it can run before it explodes" |

Can you not post spoilers about watchers keep under the Draconis title please?
As for draconis, he gave me hell aswell, but I had a genius idea... move your party back and keep them close when you know the human form is about to die. When he switches to dragon, take your main character and pull your party to the pocket plane... he can't follow, and you can rest/buff up your party while there... drop back in and give him hell. Worked wonders for me after I got stuck with how to kill him. Speed boots help to avoid his main attacks... I've found he throws up defenses so quick getting melee damage against him quick is nearly impossible. I think I went through 4 set spelltriggers with my debuffs. I don't know how you people do it... And I JUST Finished that part... now I can't figure out how to use the underwater potion... who do I go to? |

Click on the pocket plane icon... you can go there from ANYWHERE, time outside practically freezes so you can rest, have a few drinks, play with a few spells, have a few items created, and pop right back like no time passed.
I just downed two dragons using this strategy ![]() Only thing to remember, your party doesn't have to be all together, but they will appear right where they left off when you exit the pocket plane. |
