Couple of quest-related questions (some spoilers)

I have Jaheira in my party and we're almost finished her quest. I'm not romancing her. We have done the Revianne encounter, two Dermin encounters, she has left the note and Terminsel arrived to tell us to go get her, which we did and we did the fight in the Harper compound when we got her back. So AFAIK the only thing left is for Terminsel to appear again and give her her special item. However, it has been ages (really ages. I know her romance is timed by playing time not game time, so I imagine this is the same for her non-romance quest, but it has been absolutely hours - we have done the planar prison, unseeing eye, ch 6 Bodhi, and half of Watcher's Keep since then) so I'm guessing something's gone wrong and that's why he's not appearing? Does anyone know the clua code to get Terminsel to appear?

Also, I have the mod that has Minsc's extra quest, but Minsc isn't in my party. I'd like to do his quest but I don't want to have to wait around with him cluttering up my lovely group for it to trigger. Is there a way I can put him in my group and then trigger the quest immediately?

Finally, I have the expanded Planar Sphere mod. Man it really slows my loading times! Anyway, I've set up the wizard school, I'm supposed to find some wizard or something in Waukeen's Promenade and kill him and I looked everywhere and couldn't find him. Anyone know where he's supposed to be? Also, another quest I have from that is to find some Professor (Welter or something) and steal a spell from his mind. I think he's supposed to be in the sphere but I can't find him either.

Jaheira's romance is notoriously buggy. There have been quite a few threads on the subject, and someone has even compiled a very detailed list of the romance talks and the recommended responses (sorry, I can't give credit because I can't remember -- used to have it bookmarked but no longer). There's a good chance that one of your mods has interfered somewhat but I'm not aware of any specific details on this...

Stupid but important questions: Are you sure that she has neither died nor turned to stone? Both events will stop the romance, even if she is resurrected or turned back to flesh. I assume that you haven't kicked her out of the party recently?

Otherwise, it can sometimes help to revive a stalled Jaheira romance by sleeping in the wilderness to trigger certain events.

Do you have shadowkeeper or some other way of figuring out which romance dialog you are at? That way you could give details about which specific dialog is not coming up.

But I'm not romancing her, as I mentioned. These are her quests without the romance. And she hasn't died or been petrified - actually no one has because I don't want to inflict that trauma on my little dudes

. The last thing that happened was that we picked up Jaheria from the Haper Compound after she left the note and Terminsel told us to go get her.

All the times I've encountered Terminsel in a non-romance situation, it's been outside Athkatla in a waylay. This might prompt the encounter:

TERMINSELAPPEAR set it to 1. You can do this with Shadow Keeper.

Yeah, we tried travelling to Umar Hills, and we've been back to the Temple Ruins multiple times for various reasons, but nothing. Thanks for the clua code, Pirengle! I'll try it this morning [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'm pretty sure you need to rest outdoors to get it to continue, assuming enough time has indeed passed.

The way his Unfinished Business quest works is: you take him to the Docks District, then X amount of time passes (a day or two of game time, I think, but it may be longer), then go to any other District & it'll start. So, you can add him to your party & go to the Docks, then either dump him & re-add him a few days later (the timer will run even while he's not a party member as long as you get it started while he is a party member) or just go to Umar Hills (or wherever) & back to waste some game time.

Sorry I can't help with the Planar Sphere MOD, though, as I've never tried it out.

Well, we did sleep outdoors because I remember that was the case in her romance, but it didn't seem to help.

I think it's something like 3 real days until Terminsel shows up. So if you want to do it without spawning him, you're best bet is to shut the monitor off and keep the game on whenever you leave the house, and hope nobody else wants to use the computer.

Note: Minsc's quest cannot initiate if you're already past Chapter 3. Don't know why.
