Another good mod would be to actually have the baldurs gate town in baldurs gate II. It always ticks me off how you can't got there in the second game even though its part of the name...

Actually, The Darkest Day takes you to the same maps as BG1, if under different names. Got the old music and everything - get that old 'feelgood' feeling in Beregost - it's fantastic. Almost worth the bugs

While your going back to the Gate, why not do it in ToB with (ToB NPC) and take over? It would make a nice quest...

Too bad you can't just make an online game using the Infinity Engine and the maps from BGI, BGII, IWDI, and IWDII...

Heres a mod I have always wanted to see, and would be willing to write up some dialog and ideas for:

And extended Guarded Compound Quest

Now I don’t mean a quest that leads on to find out more about who lived there, I mean a different thing.

Whenever I complete the 'purging' of the guarded compound, I like to 'convert' it into my own home. Now that I have cleared it out, why not take it for myself? No one else is using it, and plus, it’s a very lovely home. So, I add all the labels to the different rooms (Kestrel's Chambers, Kitchen, Guest Bedroom, Library etc...) and then re-name the 'Guarded Compound Pin to 'Daystar Estate'.

Now, a mod that allows you to 'purchase' the Guarded Compound would be great. Not only that, but a few mini quests that go with it, sort of like a mini stronghold that is available for every class, would be perfect.

Anyway, that’s just my ideas

I like the idea, especially for a monk or a barbarian. Also, it'd be nice if you could have a second stronghold to store stuff to save the time of reloads. Maybe even something to fall back on should you so desire to give up or lose your first stronghold?

Maybe another 'Unfinished Business' mod, that ties up more loose ends, such as:

Haer'dalis' deal with the Bridge District Merchant
The Illithids in the Sewers
The Twisted Rune

and anything else that can be expanded upon or finished up.

I just had an idea from another thread where someone pointed out that the choices for Spellhold travel are limited. Well, why not a few alternatives to the Shadow Thieves and Bodhi?

Maybe one where the Order of the Radiant Heart needs someone to investigate strange going-ons at Spellhold (Havarian still the captain of a ship)? Or even one for Druids and Rangers?

Gyah! Way too long to read! I got to the third page.

As far as TOFTRH helping, there's no need to tie it into the whole Irenicus/Imoen plot at all. The Radiant Heart may need someone to go to Brynlaww Island for any number of reasons, but they can't spare anyone from the order (Except Anomen or Keldorn, which is what they do when you refuse. Just need a good reason why they don't consider either first).

They know of a Saemon Havarian and tell you of him. They won't pay for your passage, though. Which another reason would have to be thought of. Originally I had thought because they knew you were going there to free a prisoner. However, if they knew I doubt they'd offer the name of someone who will take you there.
