I was able to nick *Frostbrand* from Drizzt when he was busy fighting those Gnolls in BG1(no reloads,,no potions,,45% PP ability). I have heard that there may be problems when you import your character(with Frostbrand) to SoA. What *exactly* will happen? If it's going to crash the game, then I won't import the sword. Spoil me.

If you didn't kill him, I don't suppose he would be annoyed. It definitely won't crash the game, but as all of your items are stripped, it will be of negligable use unfortunately.

It makes no difference whether you killed him or not; he's still angry... Having a Drizzt item in your inventory at the start of the game activates a variable. The game doesn't know or care if you killed him or not, it just assumes that you did.

Elfbane, I am not sure as to if it would crash the game, but it is possible to keep the item after importing your character into the game wielding it.

Cheat.........

.

.

.

.

.

After importing your character, at the beginning of the game before any movie starts (ie, battle between Irenicus and the shadow thief) hit the letter "I" to take you to the inventory screen.

Your character should be holding the sword. Simply drop the sword onto the ground, get out of the inventory screen, and continue playing. Once the movie sequence has finished, you should be able to pick up the sword with no worries.

As for the sword crashing the game, I highly doubt it, but then again I'm no authority on the matter, so don't quote me. Just give it a try and see what happens.

What will happen is you will meet Drizzt again.

This time he will have friends.

If you fight him again one of his wizard friends will show up after a certain battle and take the items from you.

If you really want to push it try naming your character Drizzt and see what happens.

What does happen if you rename your character to Drizzt?

IIRC he gets mad at you and says something like "There can be only one Drizzt Do'Urden!" or "Get your own name". I believe Six of Spades had this as one of his questions in his last Trivia Quiz.

Yes and no, Link. I've never done it myself, but I've heard that if you name your PC Drizzt (especially if you're playing as an Elven Ranger), then Mr. Do'Urden gets mad at you for impersonating him, and he absolutely goes postal if you
A) Tried to import any of his equipment, or
B) Have Drizzt's name and a low reputation, thus dragging his name through the mud.

But the only time Drizzt had anything to do with my GBPitBSoATQs was when I asked about how many Drow can be found away from the Underdark, and when I asked for the names of Drow noble Houses.
