as some of you guys know from my previous post, i am playing with a bard blade. I have so much fun better than being a greater werewolf (wiemer version). Anyway, right now, since he has tob and experience cap off, my bard is equipped with some very kick-a$$ items and some from the item upgrade mod.

My bard is lvl 21 (i think) and has the "use anything" thingie.

Just imagine.. dual wielding with bard with the following equipment
1. sword of equality (off hand)
2. celestial fury upgrade or the new upgraded katana (forgot the name) or sanchuku of that kuroisan guy or daystar upgraded. all in on hand (of course i have to swap depending on the situation)
3. melodic chain (casting with armor)
4. amulet of power
5. elemental ring (upgrade) and ring of gaxx
6. boots of aviodance
7. belt of str
8. cloak of cheese
9. helm of siculum (spelling?)

so just right before any fight.. i buff up with protection from fireshield to stoneskin to etc.. then with haste and offensive spin i am already having a -2 thaco with the help of the str belt and the +5 weapons.

next what makes it even more interesting is that i can cast siruclum with my bard so there are two of me that have a dual weilding katanas .

third with the elemental ring and having the two of me, i can summon 27 greater elementals . plus i can summon skeleton warriors and antiwizard hakershar (or was that nisheruu? spelling?).

So with little old me having a small mini army for myself already.. I am not forgetting my little old wild mage girl who has her own set of cheesiness involved. Now, i have to contend with improved bodhi. wish me luck .

how you like my bard now

Just as cheesy and powerful was my cleric/mage.

(Slight SoA / ToB spoilers ahead)

.
.
.
.

1)Staff of the magi-cheese / Staff of Rhynn / Crom Faeyr
2)Robe of Vecna
3)Amulet of Power
4)Boots of Speed
5)Cloak of cheese
6)Ring of Gaxx and the high level cleric ring
7)Belt of Inertial Barrier

There are two strategies here. Either
1) Project Image + 5*Skeletal Warriors + 5*Aerial Servant + Haste + whichever buffs are fun.

or

2) Project Image + IA + Lots of death. Time Stop? Who needs it. I can still cast 8 holy smites in almost zero time. Why waste a spell slot on timestop?

Another Favorite...three implosions in a contingency. Yummy.

But your post makes me want to play with a Bard now

good stuff indeed.. just curious what is your high level cleric ring? i was thinking of using the shapeshifter paw for from my druid to my bard since he can also use it. hmm.. not bad idea really.

Others will be able to answer this better than I, but at a high level (level 21, I think), clerics get a ring which just appears in their inventory. I don't know all the attributes, but it included extra level 6 and 7 spell slots. I guess it's different for different alignments, but it's supposedly a gift from the relevant deity. ("Symbol of Lathander", or somesuch)

IIRC it's level 25, in addition to the extra spells it also grants 5% magic resistance and +1 to strength.
