Importing Character images?

I was trying to find information on import character pictures into BGII. Can anyone clue me in or point me to an article to explain this. I am pretty sure it is something simple I have just looked over.

You mean portraits? Just put them into portraits folder. (For example: C\Program Files\Black Isle\BG: SOA\Portraits)

I did that. But when I went to make the character no new portraits were available. I didn't exit the game though, I just minimized the game window moved over some pictures and then tried to make the character. Perhaps it will work tonight after I start the game up after having moved over the portraits. I'll try it.

Maybe you did not click the "custom" button. When you are on the portrait-selection, and you can see the built-in portraits... then look for a button that says "Custom."

Also, I don't know if it will hurt, but I would never change the game folder or files while the game is running.
