yep, you can breach stoneskin...

but iron skin can't be breached...only dispell magic or remove magic works on ironskin...

Is it more benefical to have a Ranger->Cleric vs. a Fighter->Cleric? Aside from a few spells and wepon mastery levels you would be tougher all around w/a Fighter->Cleric, Yes?

Oh yeah I forgot a plus to a Ranger->Cleric would be hide in shadows. But is there anything other than that? THOUGHTS.

One of the fun things of a fighter/ranger dual classed to cleric at a low level (3 or 7) is that they can have ultimate use of the 'holy power' spell. For a normal cleric, there is just too little gain for that lousy one attack per round.

Besides, I think the low level duals to cleric or thief give the thief and cleric what they should be like. A potential to be like a fighter in weaponpower but a much slower advancement to it. A thief could gain 5 stars this way, but would still have a fairly high thac0.

Actually, it does not work in IWD. I tested it there and found that using a ranger->cleric did not open up the druid spells to the cleric side. I *did* get the druid spells from the levels that my ranger had attained before the switch, but did not get any druid spells from later levels as the cleric advanced.

To summarize the points made above, the ranger cleric:
-gets the higher hit points of a ranger
-can dual wield effectively
-has HiS
-has better Thaco from ranger side
*has better ApR from ranger
-Cleric buffing spells work better on someone who can fight better to start with
***Can cast cleric spells AND ALL druid spells at high cleric level
(5 Ironskins last longer than 5 stoneskins because RC can wear full plate so it takes longer to land 5 successful hits)
-R/C in ToB can get HLAs from both classes
