Cleric of Brandobaris?

Can anyone tell me what a Cleric of Brandobaris would be like?

Also, how would that look as a Kit in BGII?

Zhurlong from BG, perhaps.

I would imagine a cleric of Brandobaris to be plucky, adventerous, thieving and scheming, rougish and agreeable and charming, and all that good stuff.

It would be difficult to implement in BG. I would make it a rouge subclass, myself... It would be extremely difficult.

Hmm, I didn't actually think of that, Zhurlong being a Cleric of Brandobaris.

It probably would be easier to make it a Thief Kit with spell-casting abilities than a Cleric Kit with Thieving Abilities.

However, I'd think that there'd be trouble deciding which Stronghold a CoB should have. The normal Cleric one, or the Thief one? There'd definitely need to be a few changes, for the stronghold I mean, cause I can't quite imagine a good cleric being leader of a thief guild (A good thief, but a good cleric would seem to have more loyalty to his/her God than the guild).

Maybe they could convert it into a Temple to Brandobaris?

Anyone think of any other ideas for Clerics? (Though I'd still like to see what a Cleric of Brandobaris Kit would look like, advantages and disadvantages.)

Simply hack your Halfling into a multiclass Cleric Thief. Poof! Cleric of Brandobaris. These Clerics pride themselves on their thieving abilities, and, it's not what's stolen, it's HOW it's stolen. They have no consideration for personal gain or wealth. Things stolen are more likely to be shiny gaudy junk rather then valuables, more as a momento. CoB are the ultimate pack rats. Their funny. Greed is despised and looked upon as the worst evil, but try to make them let go of uneless junk and watch out.

Convert an unused building into the stronghold. There are several unused buildings and entrances that could be converted into a shrine or hideout.

I dunno what would go into it, but why not alter one of the Ilmater temples to suit your needs? theirs several scattered throughout Athkatla. Or maybe it was only two. One in the market place and one in the Slums IIRC.

Sorry to bump this, but now some story ideas are filtering in my mind. Anyone else want to give me some good info on Clerics of Brandobaris?

Are they allowed to use swords (Not in-game, when I mean stories I mean that I'm getting an idea for a short story

)? Any spells they're limited to of the Clerical Persuasion? Any special abilities?

Advantages and Disadvantages?

Special ability? Hmmm "Boon of Bandobaris" effect: probably something like the potion of master theivery. Bonuses to theiving skills useable once per day per 3-4 levels starting with one use at level one and getting an extra at either level 6 or 8 however the math works out, etc., etc.
