I've seen Galadria vs. Edwin. No contest, squashed evil snotty mage. Of course, she did have Carsomyr.

Who's Galadria? Definately a moded characer, but I've never heard of that one.
Minsc's strength is better than Keldorn, so in hand to hand combat, the one with the most strength/dexterity should win. That would be Minsc.

Equipment for equipment, spell for spell, you will eventually get more bang for your buck with Keldorn. Even without Carsomyr.

Minsc is also MUCH more susceptible to spells (esp. those that hold or confuse) and lacks the all important dispell and truesight that Keldorn has.

Strictly speaking, Keldorn is a far superior party member for the game - Minsc's main value is his one-liners and resultant 'amusement factor'. I only take him when I want a more challenging game...

Galadria is my wife. She plays a Cavalier. With Carsomyr and Red Dragon Scale armor.

What about Korgan vs. ... just about any fighter?

Apart from anything else, his temperament makes him the most likely to attack a party member

(disclaimer to avoid soliciting spoilers: apart, obviously, from those who may or may not actually do so during the game when sufficiently angered by a particular NPC who just can't keep his mouth shut).

Imoen vs Janjanssen is little difficult cause their two mages but Imoen wins...I had Imoen 11 mage and thief 7 and jan illusionist 9 and thief 10...But I think it was not a very honest fight

...So if someone has idea's to make it more honest

?
