Surnames

What are the surnames of the characters? I know that:
Anomen Delryn
Edwin(a) Odessyron
Viconia deVir(?)
Nalia D'Atrneise
Jan Jakobar Jansen
Valygar Corthala
but the others only seem to have one name. Be interesting to know what they are.

For Imoen is easy. It's the same as yours. (And you can make up yours so..)

I don't think you can find out about the others but it's good that you are trying. I am a bit curious too infact.

Also, you and Imoen had different mothers, and were pretty much raised by different people (Imoen was by the Innkeep at Candlekeep, you were raised by of course Gorion)...in all likelihood, you have different surnames [img]smile.gif[/img]

Does Aerie even have a surname? What about Jaheira and Minsc?

Haer Dalis? Not sure whether it's a surname.

Jaheira is the widow of the late Khalid. I'm not sure about the world of FRPG, but she could have his surname (whatever it is) like in the real world. Though it is hard to imagine that a deadly and tough fighter/druidess like her would take the name of a complete and stuttering whimp (pretty obvious I am still jealous about him, isn't it).

How on earth did you find out about Jan's second name Jakobar? Will I ever learn all there is about this game?

And sorry about the nitpicking, but it is Nalia D'Arnise (at least in the German version). A family as old and noble as hers would sure emphasize the right spelling of their name.

No idea about Minsc. He's a barbarian (okay, not technically) from the north. He's probably not civilized enough to have a surname other than his tribesname.

Aerie is special. She was taken from her elf family too young to remember the surname (if there ever was one). Quayle fostered her but I doubt he legally adopted her. She adresses him as uncle. So I guess she does not bear his surname (if he has one).

Hear'Dalis is just his first name; the ' connects the Hear and the Dalis together, like D'Arnise.
