BG1 Import Problems

I moved the final save file to the BG2 character file, but it still doesn't show up when I try to start a new BG2 game. I think I am supposed to put it in the save file, but there is no file under that name in the BG2 folder. Maybee the folder I want is listed under another name? Can you help a fellow adventurer who is down on his luck? (or a very low roll on his INT)

Problem solved. The first thing I did was to copy the character files I wanted,(I made a hard save before I went in for the final battle, then extracted the m into the BG1 char. file). The second thing I did was to create a save folder in the BG2 directory,(there was none), then copied the final save into the new folder I created. Thankfully, both worked.

That's all you have to do: create a new folder manually. IIRC, adding portraits requires you to make your own folder too, but I think that's just for BG1, BG2 already has it, unless I have it the other way around
