Well....i'm about to create a new character and i'm stuck on the alignment part. Ok lets say your a thief that steals and murder but will never betray friends, what type of alignment would this fit in?

Steals what from whom? Murders who for what?

If you're going for a Robin Hood type of thief, I'd say Chaotic Good.

If you're going for someone who steals for the fun of it but always gives something back, and kills only those who deserve death, I'd say Neutral Good or True Neutral.

If you're going for someone who works for money or rewards, I'd say True Neutral or Neutral Evil.

If you're going for someone who'd betray friends only when it served his/her interests, I'd say Lawful Evil.

Not sure if thieves can be Lawful according to 2nd ed rules.

In 2nd edition, thieves can be any alignment except Lawful Good.

Really, the degree of theft/murder makes the difference here, especially the murder component. If you are just talking about no real compunction about killing, but still avoid doing it unless you need to (or it is REALLY profitable), then you are talking about Neutrality. But if you are talking about murdering just because you feel like it, or with little reason to do so, then you are going way into Evil. Theft leans more towards Chaos, but if you are ripping off poor people and those who are in need, you start leaning towards Evil as well.

Hmmmmm........thanks people, I'll might go with a neutral one. Also another question camed to my mind, lets just say there was a battle between all familiars, which familiar would win?

Mine. Just Kidding. I think one of those dragons or faires is a better fighter than the rest but I cant remember which one.

That's easy. The one that is in its master's backpack. All familiars are far too vulnerable to be sent out into combat situations, and the loss you take when they die is not worth trying to do so. The cat is great for stealth situations, but stealth by its definition is sneaking around the enemy rather than engaging them.
