jaheira quest questions.

can i find renfields body w/o jaheira (prolly not)

will i automaticly find him if i go cruising the docks with jaheira in my team

or do i need an active romance with her?
so basicly im asking how do i get the jaheira harperquest without wasting much time on jaheira?

i thought you only needed to go outside athkatla to find him...or am i thinking of the same person?

Rendfield, as in the harper guy who is poisoned? No you don't need jaheira. Just go outside Athkatla, towards De'Arnise Keep or Trademeet, etc.

The "Poisoned Man / Xzar" quest is not a part of any of Jaheira's quests--it simply must be completed before Jaheira's Harper quest can start. And Renfeld can be found without even leaving Athkatla (I just did so)--just wander around different districts. I just found him on a Graveyard-to-Gates trip.

uhhmm, what does trigger jaheiras harper quest. is it the baron ployer thing?
or is that seperate to.

oh wait doesnt the quest start when you return renfield and you have jaheira in your team?
that would trigger it wouldnt it?
then as a side question..just how long (or many nights) do i have to keep her before that whole harper summoning trial of the godson drama begins ?
is it easy doable... or is that a long romance thing.

my jaheira romance was screwing upo at the time ...so that harper quest was real longwindy.

The Renfeld and Xzar quests can happen without Jaheira in the party. If Jaheira is in the party, doing the Renfeld quest is a must. Not sure about the Xzar quest. Probably a good idea to do that too. If Jaheira's in the party and the PC is romancing her, you must do the Renfeld and Xzar quests (or is it just the Renfeld?) or else the romance will get screwed up.

The harper quest runs for the whole game, pretty much, and will happen whether or not the PC is romancing Jaheira. (If the PC is romancing Jaheira, the game has this annoying habit of not causing certain quest-important characters to appear when they should. A combination of the Bioware patch and Baldurdash should fix most of this, and feel free to post questions if you've hit a snag.) As for easily doable, yes and no. It's not that complicated a puzzle, but the battles on this quest can be annoying, not just for tactics but in the bizarre random way they spawn. Like getting waylaid by enemies in Athkatla then having certain people show up...grr...

i ment the renfield - xar , and the baron ployer thing.
it was a bit foggy on how to trigger these..

Im currently on chapter 6 already and ahve done the renfeld and ployer quests but the harpers still havent asked jaheira to leave for a day so I can do the harper quest. Can anyone help?

Have You done the Xar Quest? That should trigger the the Harpers......
