This may sound like a dumbass question, but what is and how to you activate the thieving ability "move silently"? or is it how they move all thw time?

Explainations appreciated

When you are hidden in the shadows, your move silently ability affects if you can successfully hide in the shadows continuosly. Also, say you are hidden in the shadows, go to backstab, and miss. If your move silently ability is low, then you will immediately become visible. If it's high, you can keep swinging till you hit (or keep missing till you're visible), or you could run away out of view, hide in shadows again, and then return.

move silently determines how quickly you can hide in shadows again...

in fact, one post a while back showed a thief should only put in a few points into "hide in shadows" but really beef up "move silently" since after a backstab, your points in "move silently"...

another thing, if you have low move silently points then , when you walk pas people while you are invisible, then they go towards your character because they can hear your footsteps. this is my experience anyway
