Jon won't die!!! What gives?!!?

I'm at the final battle with Irenicus... I've survived, Jon appears to be out of juice.

My 6 PC's have been hacking at him for the better part of 10 minutes, done a total of what must be coming up on 10,000 damage. He is "near death" but is simply standing there, doing nothing!

What have I done!?

I tried changing into slayer for no reason aside from thinking perhaps I needed to land the final blow AS the slayer... but no go!

Anyone else run into this? Do I need to load a save, and do this battle oveR?

Well, I'll have to do it over anyway.

After I posted that, I tabbed back into the game, and my Slayer status ran out, and my main guy died... lol

We shall see what happens this time!

He needs to run a script at the end - try stepping away a few steps.

Two possibilities:
1.)Jon regenerates fast in his Slayer form. So maybe you're not hacking fast enough
2.)Jon needs to run a script at the end (as LennonCook said) and you're keeping him from starting that somehow. Either through constant hacking or because it did not trigger due to some glitch.

Most likely the script issue, stated above. Did you feeblemind him? That will sometimes break a script.

Crisis averted.

Since I died after taking Slayer form, I had to do the battle again.

I had to use my rod of ressurection a couple times the first time. So... the second round, I had Viconia summon 4 Aerial Servants, hasted the party, and re-triggered the battle.

Each of the 4 deamons lasted for no more than a few seconds, and Jon was beaten and bloody in mere moments. The script triggered this time.

I don't know what happened the first time, but it wasn't because he was regenerating faster than I was owning him. =P
