Then I should pay attention to the spells Irenicus casts at the beginning. I remember one of the Cowled Wizards he attacked got petrified or something, and then shattered without Jonny hitting him. It must have been one of his special spells or something.

Yes one of his *scene* spells it is alot of Irenicus spells that he only yuses in Scenes when hes fighting OR *killing* =D

u sure the cowled guy was petrified and not frozen? as that does automatically destroy the statue.....

Bruce *irenicus* do NOT yuse ANY Freeze spells.

its been discussed before: Irenicus uses spells in cutscenes(and certain spells in *regular* fights) that the PC cannot use during the game. Its just to make the scenes look a bit more flashy and entertaining, and to show off what the gaming engine can do.
