Major Help needed with Anomen quest (did I botch it?)

I play evil so I dont want to compromise my play style for the sake of XP, not to mention I have no intentions of keeping Anomen, hes some quick Xp for me and thats it.

My problem is when I go to kill the dude who killed his sister, I get attacked on my way out and "sentenced to death". WTF? Is there no way to kill and live? Do I HAVE to be nice? I already saved after telling him to kill for revenge and like I said, I could care less whether he makes it into the radiant hearts or wherever. Is my only option ditching him now that Im actually inside the compound with a bounty on the guys head? Or is there some way to A. reverse wheels in motion and be nice which I dont want to do but will or B. successfully battle it out without being attacked by Amnish army once I leave the house. Also I can outrun them but if I do it once just to get off bridge district, will they follow me wherever I go?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Nice work man! What character do you play? I play true neutral, but you sure seem to play evil well!

If your rep gets too low you get attacked by Amnish guards of some sort (they have a slightly different name) and also wizards too with some nice, high level spells. All of them drop nice stuff, but they do put up a fight because they're quite high level! If you're finding them too hard to beat because you're low level, then cheese them to death with traps etc is my suggestion.

No need to break your evil roleplaying style. I have only come across them with 1 character, my evil sorcereress. She is level 40 and likes to make full use of the disintergrate and petrify spells on dumb peasents.

Im playing as lawful evil monk and yeah it was definitely because of low rep, apparently I was at 6 and after killing the cook and commoner I dropped to 3. I was kind of pissed because I thought they were attacking me because of my dialogue choices (get revenge for anomen) not because of my low rep so I redid without killing cook/commoner and all is good. thanks for advice all.
