Yeah, Arcanum can be a bit daunting for people who like to collect everything. Basically, if you're majoring in Tech, collect only those items you can use to make stuff. likewise with magick based characters, Collect the things that let you make potions mostly. When you're just starting out it's hard to know which is which.

Are there any turn based strategy type games where you can manage your country and gain territories through war? But in fantasy setting? (elves, dwarf, undead etc etc). Somewhat similar to Birthright : The Gorgon's Alliance?
![]() My god, I really love this game and this game was like more than 10 years ago. HoMM, King Bounty's and any recent ones seem too RPGish. edit : in b4 Age of Wonders. Last edited by Kakero; 12-24-2010 at 08:29 PM. |

I picked up "Septera Core" for $5. I installed it on my old PC, but it is giving an error message. I will try it on my new one...
I also saw Civ 3 complete at one store for $10. I hear they are quite addictive? |

Don't get Civ 3. Get Civ 4 or 5.

I saw Civ 3 complete again today. I'm a little concerned about the addiction factor.

I mean, get it if you are that interested but Civ 4 and 5 are far better IMO, with 3 being quite outdated and clunky now. Civ 4 complete is pretty cheap now also.
