Winking Linux, Wine, and DC

So, using the search feature I found the linux/wine discussion frome before: DC goes multi-platform here: http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/...d.php?t=100852

Now, how does someone who id DL-ing wine get a copy of the windowed version of DC? Is this something that will be released as a feature with the next release?

Paul has compiled (not for a while now) a debug version of the engine that runs in a window, but not like a "Windows" window - you can't move it or resize it.

With that said, I believe that CocoaSpud is going to be looking into this very issue, and his goal will be to make a window that can be moved and resized. I'll leave it to these gentlemen to fill in more if they like.

I would not hold my breath. The 'Fixed' window version
can probably be done. We don't want to release the 'Debug'
version but we can probably transfer the window capability
to the 'Release' version eventually.

Oh yeah, htis is a "no breath holding" zone. As far as I'm concerned, before version 1.0, this would be a nice bonus, but not something I'm putting on the list.
And after 1.0, it will be put on the list and prioritized accordingly.
