Robe of the Evil Archmagi

In my current party I'm playing with Edwin. It's the first time I've used an evil mage so I never realized before that the Robe of the Evil Archmagi is not sold in stores! Where can I find this item? Edwin has been complaining about it for days

Grrr....I cant remember. You get it quite early on, off a Mage in a fight. Cant remember who or where though: I think its a Mage in the plot, and not in a subquest.

Soz I couldnt be more specific!

i think i remember getting from daveorn or in his lair somewhere. but then again i'm not positive???

I'm 99% sure your correct. At the end of Cloakwood mines, off Daveorns dead body!

The Cloakwood Mines eh? That's not too far off. I'm in Ch 3 at the moment. Edwin will just have to wait patiently for his Archmagi robe [img]smile.gif[/img]

I wish they had put more than one Robe of the Good Archmagi, cos i cuda done with some other decent protection for me other mage.

Davaeorn drops some Bracers AC 6 as well--that's only 1 AC point worse than an Archmagi Robe. They don't confer the Robe's other benfits, like the Saving Throws and Magic Resistance, but you can wear another Mage Robe along with the Bracers.

Alternatively, just recruit 2 Mages of differing alignments.

Don't read the res of this if you haven't done the quest the head thief gives you as it is a bit of a sopiler.

If you go upstairs in Oberons estate ( in the quest where you have to steal the skyship components) the three daughters have a mage robe each. I think at least one of them is a robe of the evil archmagi.

None of the daughters has an Archmagi Robe, just the standard 6 types that all Mages wear.

Good, Neutral (1 each) - Buy at High Hedge
Evil - Loot from Davaeorn at the bottom of the Cloakwood Mines
Neutral - Loot from Dradeel on Werewolf Island (ToSC only)
Good - Loot from Shandalar in Ulgoth's Beard (ToSC only, cannot be killed except by cheating or using DSoTSC)
