Evening all. It's 4:30am and I can't sleep again.

Where have I heard this song before...? Only midnight here, but I'm heading to snooze soon. Try counting video driver version numbers... 'cept that might bring on nightmares...

Dunno, if it'll make you feel any better, but it's around midnight here and I just downed a can of Mt. Dew. I'm yawning right now, but the caffein will probably kick in just as I'm ready to go to sleep.

Oh and just got back from my brother's last night. The baby is very much healthy and happy. I have never seen a human being that small before. I think from head to feet she couldn't be longer than my forearm.

And Easter services at my church, we had an attendance of about 14,000 people. A 40% increase from last year. We rented out a local theater for a 2nd location and broadcast to that location. Unbelievably we actually had to tell people to come back for the last service, because the service prior was at absolute max capacity. If we tried to squeeze in any more, the fire marshals would be all over us.

All in all it was a pretty good past two weeks for me. Oh, finally tried the Wii up at my brother's. Pretty cool, definately best played with a friend. Not so much for the solo gamer.

14,000 people is a lot. At my church, we're lucky if we get ten.

Sorry 'bout that, DS... hopefully you got to sleep without the screaming meemies.

14k is not just a lot... it's a small city! Many churches would love to have that problem... although as our pastor is wont to remind people, "we will have services here next week, too... same time, same place..."

And great on the little one! They are so small and tiny... but they keep on growing, wouldn't ya know it? Enjoy every day... they won't be replaced.

I'm hoping I get some sleep tonight. I'm planning on staying up for a while watching films with my friend, so maybe that will tire me out.

EDIT: Huzzah! Drow priestess.

A large crowd is always cool, but sometimes I miss the days when we'd dream of pulling 200 in on a weekend. It much more difficult to develop personal connections with a larger crowd.

Update on the niece, 7lbs 6oz now and gained a 1/4inch.

Oh and my knee is nearly 100% recovered from that injury I mentioned like a month ago. Still gets a little sore with extensive use, but no more crutches or knee brace.
