.nr is for Nauru, but not co.nr which the spam e-mail uses.

OK - phone numbers are not even Australian, as pointed out the url is not directed to Australia, which uses the code AU and although we do have a few small oil companies in Australia - Penrite, gulf western, woodside ect exporting oil is not really a big industry.

but if you want to send your details to me with a money order for $2000 I will try and get in contact with them ... honest

I just got this one this morning. It really leaves me puzzled, 'cos the link is correct. But when was the last time your government sent you and email, saying they want to send you money?

Hmm, I can't copy what they send to me. The whole email is a link.
It says:

It has a colourful grafic at the top with "Canada revenue agency" on it. Under that is the correct link of: www.cra.gc.ca.
But, in the link that's showing, it cra-arc.gc.., which is probably the French part of it. It's very strange because I clicked it by accident, and it sure looks correct. If I wern't leaving for the airport shortly, I would look into it further.

My wife just dropped off our returns on Thursday. I'm actually getting over
$4200 back. Not the amount stated in the email.
