Well... there *IS* something therapeutic about delivering that swift kick in the nads... but the blackmail potential for the tutu ensemble is just *SO* much greater...

To be honest, I have some pretty good blackmail stuff on him already...
*ahem*
Anyway, on a happier note, this Sunday I am off to nearby Southampton to get some hair dye (blue) and get my seventh piercing done. The bass playing has been coming along well too, and my ankle is slowly getting better.

Had fun with the books there, Bung?

Blue hair... more piercings... I do believe you're going to owe the IW family photo album an update, DS

'Course, don't be giving *others* blackmail material...

The books have been fun. This is the third one I've written, and while none of them approach the level of Harry Potter (or even Hairy Otter), they do help fund an enjoyable dinner on a relatively frequent basis. Got a fourth one that's almost done, then a fifth that I've got the layout for and need to flesh out.

All but the fourth one are technical books that would bore the living daylights out of folks not in those worlds... but then again, maybe not

Tonight it's time to get Quicken caught up, and then do some gaming. Onward!

Well if I had any pictures in the photo album, I would update them. I'm about due for a haircut too.... It has been over a year.

How technical are we talking with these books of yours?

..and what is tempting your gaming pallet these days? I'm soo bored. Everything I have is old and mostly over-played. ..might be time for FF1 a la emulator again..

..oh, and why not post a pic with the covers of the 3 books for us? They may not be exiting for most of us, but it's still quite an achievement!

Well.... if no update, then a photo

As for the books...

Book one is about archiving and deleting data from your Progress database.

Book two is comprised of tips, tricks, and techniques for using the software I work with.

Book three gets back to the basics of dumping, loading, and refreshing your Progress database.

So... pretty high on the tech level. Not exactly the kinds of things you'd have sitting around on your coffee table at home (unless you're one of my parents ).

Book four is Toastmasters-related, and book five is going to be an add-on to book three... Back to Basics on another database administration area.

As for gaming, I'm alpha testing a new game right now. It's built in the MM6 world, but has nothing to do with MM6. I've also got a Risk addiction going on... I play online and usually win in four turns, depending on the roll of the dice.

That's my company's website. They publish my books and my counterpart's. He ups the geek level to a whole new world... he reads hex and binary.

The MM6 thing is another BDJ mod. Purely in the Alpha stages right now, and will have very little to do with MM6 other than some physical layouts. Storylines, quests, plot... all different and new.

And going back to olden days, you get to pick one of three different playing levels... Adventurer, Warrior, and MMF... meanest mother fracker in the world.

For those who feel the need for a challenge, that is...

It's a ways from being done, and I think it will be very enjoyable.

Well, keep me posted. I don't believe I saw anything about it on Celestial Heavens?

Not much to update yet, and I don't think he's posted much about it on CH. There are a handful of us testing it out and correcting things along the way.

Definitely not as "monty haul" as the MM7 rev4 Mod... I've been scrambling.
