Actually I already have that blade NALIAS already using it
thats becos she is the higher lvl MAGE and would do more damage with her spells than Jan would...Jan can already Hide in Shadows.

what is the best backstabbable weapon that everybody else uses?
can b debated
has to a combination of paralyze, poison, SPEED factor as well as magical bonus damage?
I had heaps of shortswords and powerful daggers that I have sold already....

I find damage to be the most important, I want to gib anything I backstab! Speaking of backstabbing, I'm currently playing an Elven Stalker and it is the most enjoyable game I have yet played. (maybe it's because of Tactics) i love the way he sneaks about, luring too tough adversaries away only to hide and sneak back past them so the party can cross an area without being seen by it. I will get back on them when I have grown in power Also, my stalker backstabs quite well, he already got a 3x backstab on lvl 9, though it said x2 on the description...

if counting ToB items the staff of the Ram is the most powerful, otherwise the Katana from the temple district is the most popular.

Yep. Thieves can be quite powerful.
Now if you take a Kensai->Thief with Kai+Critical Strike(roll or ToB HLA) that can be quite of a pain don`t you think?
