Okay, I just tried this code:
$SET_CHAR_ASL($TargetIndex(),"movement24",24-#$GET_CHAR_MAXMOVE($TargetIndex()));
$SET_CHAR_MAXMOVE($TargetIndex(),24);

What did I do wrong?

I cannot test it at the moment, however, I am not sure if the character movement works at the current state anyway. I remember that I tried to reduce the max movement for some races (in the race.dat-file), and in the end, they could walk 12 squares anyway...
