Aliens? Mothman? Weird happenings?

In all fairness, just because Tom Selleck narrated it, doesn't mean he did/collected the research. Just means the director liked his voice.

So anyway, what's the whole mothman story? Never heard of it before and you've got me curious. Only thing that sounds remotely like it that comes to mind is the Killer Moth villain from Teen Titans.

The mothman story, well where to begin. its basically a bipedal animal with wings (think angels?) but no head. There are big glowing eyes where our shoulder bones are (like a moths) and its big.

And people from all over U.S have "eyewitnesses" on seeing this creature. There's no photograph of it, but every description that has been heard follows the same lines, (and now theres a statue in point pleasant , which is kinda coooool). Yeah..


Now with E.T stuff, I float with the many others in which, I find it hard to believe that we're the only sentient being.
And I was wondering, maybe they know of our existence? But also know that humans are excessively aggressive , and purposely avoiding us?

I'd say so. See, any species with the technology to travel to our planet and survive the trip (i.e. lightspeed or warp etc.) would most likely be evolved in many other areas too. Spiritually, mentally, physically. From an observers perspective, we still haven't resolved conflicts between our own race, so how could we be expected to maintain relations with another species? Then, we're still poisoning our planet, detonating nukes, starving our people even killing our people. I'd imagine it's like watching kids in a schoolyard from afar; You can't approach them until they understand the implications. Just one of the many theories running 'round my head.

It's possible that there's extra-terrestial life out there, I suppose. Whether they've visited us is another issue.

I don't know if aliens would by necessity be morally better than us humans just because they have more advanced technology. Consider the technological differences between European imperialists forces and many native people around the world, and how it turned out.

The universe is a pretty big place. You could choose millions of directions of travel. Looking down at us, I would "not" make it a first choice!
