I knew they had these big, bulky invisibility things that could bend radar waves around objects, but visible light? This is awesome. What's next? Maybe they'll really make flying cars one day.

Flying cars are totally possible. It currently would cost more than $1,000,000 to own one. The cloak would have limits I think it would work fine from a certain distance but the closer you get the more noticable it becomes that something would be there kind of like a warders cloak. I doupt it could ever be perfected so you could walk into a bank and walk off with bags of money.

I know there are flying car prototypes, I was talking about a cheap, mass produced flying car. Like what Ford did with regular cars.

I don't think this will ever be very useful for purposes of bank robbery. If there is someone watching after the money, they're going to notice if it suddenly starts levitating or disappears into thin air. And if there is no one looking, what do you need the seven billion dollar cloaking device for?
