But Sesame Street featured The Muppets, all created by Jim Henson! So they are all muppets!

Kermit. I still remember the skit on Sesame Street where he went to pick up his shirt from the cleaners and they kept bringing out the wrong ones 'Kermit the Gorf', 'Kermit the Forg', etc
 . Also Grover and Cookie Monster.

I think a close runner up was Sweetums!. I loved when he would come out and yell "Make up" and wack some one with the big powder puff!
