Cannot log on to EfU

I fear that my post a couple days ago (to the bugs thread) may have gotten overlooked so I'm starting a new thread. When I try to log in with Balthazar I get: Invalid character - player login refused. Character class is non player class. I thought this may be because I swapped bows with Teri, but other players have told me they have used every henchperson's weapons and not had this trouble. If this can't be fixed, can I at least get the .bic to use as a guide for rebuilding? Also, is the old character delete thread still the place to request removals?

No dice. Same error message, same result. I don't know if this is helpful, but I can log in using the other character builds, the error only occurs with Balthazar.

Hmm, very odd! This usually only happens when I accidentally turn on 'Item Level Restrictions'.
I think your character is corrupt though, I'll check and see.

I'd like to start rebuilding in case you can't recover Balthazar, could you delete all my characters except Gilles and (if decorrupted) Balthazar? Thanks.

I tried to simply make a new character with an existing name, the server let me but it doesn't show up at login. Having not really played on another server I have no idea if that's normal or not.

When you log out, I'll do that--try to log into your Balthazar character again.. I tried something. May not work, but who knows..

It didn't work

but once you remove the chaff I should be able to have a new and improved Vigo equipped and leveled up for the weekend. (3rd time's the charm?)

Ugly Hogan and I had need of a rogue, knowing that Vigo hadn't yet been deleted I tried to switch characters and discovered that he now has the same inability to log in (NPC/deny) as Balthazar.

At least I had already stripped him of the items I wanted, but this doesn't bode well.
