Today i finished the game (for the first time). And i really enjoyed playing it. I nearly feel a little sad because its over now, like at the end of a really good movie, book, TV-series or so on. If there weren't so much bugs, it would have been a really wonderful game.
And i must say, i'm rally glad i found this forum, when i searched a cure for the "can't enter buildings in valeia"-problem. Without this forum, i would have missed much of the fun of the game. I even guess i would have been impossible to play it. |

Woohoo! Congratulations, Woodwose!
![]() ![]() So... now that you've completed it, have a Brew at the Boogre Bar, relax a bit... and think about taking your new Zenmaster and Valkyrie through it ![]() You can also play one of the "strange" or "boutique" variations, like playing all one class, a solo character, or some other unique party. In any case, I'll say it again... Congratulations! ![]()

Thanx for the congratulations.
I'm not sure about resetting the game. Wouldn't it be boring to fight trolls and worgurs with those super-duper zen master powers? However, first i'll take my party ro revisit the whole gael serran. Because some things are still to be cleared: I never found the lance of the lady and the ring that gives iron-lung. I found a lever in the stout mines, right behind the right gate after you find the first trolley (the gate you can't use before repairing the right trolley). Does it do anything? I found no way to reach it, cause you can't leave the trolley on the way, and when you reach the "stations", the doors close behind you) (well, maybe one could vanish through the gate?) In Anephas shrine there are some holes in the ceiling, looking a bit like "exits" from some hidden corridors. Are they just decoration? Also i'll read the best-tips once more. Maybe there's something i missed, but still worth trying out |

I think the Lance of the Lady is a random item. You can give it to yourself by the means that I have suggested in other posts in this forum. The Death Strike is nice but it is not necessary.
Ring of Neptune, you find this after you explore the Sunken City. I think the maps posted in this forum have found everything, when used in conjunction with the map set available from the Downloads page. The W&W files have never been properly decrypted so there might be huge unexplored areas of the game that nobody here knows about. But some people here have the official strategy guide, and they have never found anything in the game that was not in the guide. |

Lance of the Lady: random loot from the Pyramid chests. It is nothing to write home about.
Ring of Neptune: Sunken City, jump down after finding the last tablet ... Yes, it is rather boring to fight bats with overpowered party but there are certain items in the game, which can fix problems in the beginning of the game and are worth of inheriting. - Cure Potions: You can get them only as a gift from Temples or find them in the Brimloch Roon area. These potions are extremely useful in the beginning of the game because you can get diseased rather early, much sooner than you gain the Cure spell. - Eye of Heavens: a nice protection amulet which will not overpower you but which can fix continuous dying. - Ring of Neptune: Iron Lung trait for the whole party from the beginning of the game - Ring of Mariin: Allows your wizards and warlocks to boost their INT to 24 right now. Moreover, you sell the ring for 5000 gold and you buy it back for 2500 gold ... - green amulets: Allow your wizards and warlocks to boost STR to 24 right now. - a few skulls, raptor eggs (any raptor egg from Brinloch Roon will do) and spider eggs, Assassin Dagger, Orb of Clarity, and Ardibren's Keepsake. They make easier role changing and gaining levels in the Guild. - Sword of Kerah: Guardian Angel trait for all those that can use a sword. - Ankhs: they enable laziness during character creation. Therefore, keep your equipment and reset adventures. Sell unusable or too overpowering stuff and turn your veterans into mules. Create a new party.

You can always alter the D6Item.dat file and jazz up the Lance of the Lady, I have decrypted about half of the file.
