How do I give Imoen the Swashbuckler kit for her first few levels as a Thief (I think she has 7 levels). When I played with her in BGTutu, I used her as a Swashbuckler, but I don't know how to imitate this in BGII.
TIA

Hex editing should work here if the Shadow Keeper does not. The Baldur.gam file should be easy enough to decrypt, given enough work. You can compare what the Shadow Keeper shows you about a PC's statistics with what you see in the MS-Dos Edit command.

Also, try to consolidate your questions into a single thread i.e. something called "Klorox' BG2 Questionary" or whatever. You're kind of spamming the boards and unnecesarrily pushing other threads down. |

Um, dude. Wait until you've written, published and maintained at least one major mod of your own, spend some time helping other modders with their work, and then you can tell newbie powergamers to kiss your rear. But even then, people will still think less of you for it.
But, since you're farming yourself out to at least 6 other fora, you're obviously not too concerned about getting banned from this one. |

From henceforth, Klorox, please try to maintain a modicum of politeness on this forum. Consider yourself warned. That goes for everyone else involved in this thread.
Thanks, Sazerac

As for what was originally being discussed, kits and dual classing, I think hex - editing (or re - compiling the Shadow Keeper program itself), should work.
I succeeded in this by making Imoen a single - class level 8 Swashbuckler, then dual classing her to a Mage. All by use of Shadow Keeper needless to say. I have not decrypted the save file enough yet. Last edited by Shadow Stranger; 01-01-2008 at 06:35 PM. |

Edit: hex - editing apparently won't do anything that Shadow Keeper can't.
Did Klorox realize that Imoen disappears the moment that the party reaches Athkatla proper? Further, she is not available again until the party cleans out Spellhold? He got himself banned possibly for nothing. |
