Well now, things have come a long way. Looks down to left under compartment of desk. ASUS books; MB x2, Video Card x2. Hmm......
Sadly the crossbow was a let down, all the other torture test' looked convincing. In my experience a crossbow would have made toothpicks of that board he test fired on, and more than likely would have exited the room. The cocking of the bow was the tell tale indicator it was a toy, for no real cross bow can be cocked like that. ![]() Excellent propaganda and marketing strategies, however the execution was not so good. ![]() I do own many ASUS PC products, but not the monitor.

A real crossbow would have split the wood he fired at.

I've heard that the really powerful crossbows, the ones you have to reload with your legs, are capable of punching through kevlar, but I think there were also weaker and easier to reload models. So the one used can still be a "real" crossbow. Perhaps the bolts didn't sink very deep into the plank, but I'd say they could still severely maim an unarmored opponent.

Well gee guys, it's not a tank, it's a monitor!!
I think the point is that if something unforeseen happens, it's nice to know it can take a hit.

I think we should try shooting it with a gun. It's more likely to happen than it being shot by a crossbow. I mean, how many people use crossbows nowadays? Very few, sadly. Twas all different when I was young... **Old Granny Mode**

However, to use a 20lb draw crossbow with un-tempered bolts, then show they were un-tempered after they bounced off the tempered glass was the downfall of the entire experiment. Not to mention he realized he had almost fully cocked it before he palced his second hand on it to show how "strong" it was. I assure you, a mere 150 lb draw cross bow takes both hands and both feet to cock, and that's coming from a person who is over 6" tall, and tips the scales just over 220lbs. But yes, it looked awesome, especially the way the hammer bounced completely off.
