Default The Soprano's....is it still running?

I have season 1-6 complete on DVD, and since it's not being broadcast where i live, i was wondering if the series is still running in the US, and if so, how far is it?

I love this series, so naturally i want more. Anyone think it will ever end? I mean even when Tony dies, there's still plenty of maincharacters to continue. AJ the new Don?

I thought that show ended last season. Never got to see it (night job) but I remember everyone talking about it. Apparently the ending was disappointing because it left some big question unanswered.

Sunglass Man Re: The Soprano's....is it still running?

It did end this past season. And the ending left more questions than answers, and people have brought back all sorts of trivia about it.

Spoiler for the final episode:

The scene where the guy's shot and has his head crushed by an SUV... yeah, right. A rolling SUV would just roll over the top of an eight- to ten-inch object placed in front of it. Not without someone stomping on the gas...

I don't recall how many seasons it actually ran. James Gandolfini has certainly typecast himself now, though... and that's a good thing, methinks.
