I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I was asked to send this on if I agree or delete if I don't. It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. They tell you it's about a group of friends that do such and such. Ask what Family Matters is about, and you get, "It's about a black family..." or "It's about an African American family..." Part of white privilege is the invisibility of race. Nobody says, "My white friend, John..." or "It's about four white people..." Or are you going to go ahead and say that all races are completely equal and are treated equally by the media? Media exists to cater to specific groups. Do you feel that TV HASN'T catered to your views? Are white people ever in danger of flipping through TV stations and NOT seeing other white people, just like them?

Furthermore, we don't need a United Caucasian College Fund because few white folks have been systematically denied access to education and employment based on race.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines homophobia as " Fear or hatred of homosexuals and homosexuality." Fear. It's right there in the definition. If it wasn't a phobia, we wouldn't CALL it a phobia. My only problem with the word is that it doesn't carry the same stigma that the word "racism" carries.

My father, grandfathers, uncles and great-uncles went to the military to protect the Constitution. My grandpa flew a plane at D-Day because he believed in free speech and the dignity of all human beings. I find this collection of ideas abhorrent, but I would die to protect your right to say it.

The opinion that nobody has responsibility to help others is a common one, and I certainly can't argue with it. I just wish people would be consistent with it. Everyone who feels like that should be pro-choice and should have protested the Iraq war.

There's a difference between political correctness and correctness. I also do have my own issues with the phrase "African American" but let's put things in context. I don't call myself a European American, but my best friend calls herself Irish. Her aunt married a man who calls himself Italian. A friend of mine's grandfather is very English. People are free to label themselves in a manner of their own choosing.

It's not a question of whether you "need" something or not. I should be free to open any fund I want. But if I open a college fund only for Caucasians I would be called a racist at best. At worst (and more probable) I would be sued and forced to shut down.

How so?
If people support war in Iraq because they feel it's USA's responsibility to protect/help others then I agree with you that it is inconsistent. But I don't support war for that reason. I support war because it is USA's duty to protect itself.
Whether this particular war was warranted (i.e. whether Iraq posed enough of a threat to USA to warrant one) is a different matter. But anyway I'm saying this clearly: the only reason a nation should wage war is to protect itself. Never others.

Constitution does not exist to protect minorities or majorities but to protect JUSTICE and TRUTH.

And for those of you who talk about protecting rights of minorities, remember also that the smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights, cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.

As an individual, I should have the right to emply whomever I want. Even if I refuse to employ a Black. So long as I'm not using coercive force I'm not violating his "rights". he can go and find employment elsewhere. If he's really good it's I who'll lose.
Similarly he can choose not to work for white people only black.
If a government prevents me from not hiring him (and government is always using coercive force), the it is violating my individual rights.
