I like roleplaying games, but I also like first person RPGs as well (an example would be Demise). I prefer real time combat over turn based combat.

I prefer realtime combat as well. Not just in games like NWN and the BG series... I rather enjoyed the Red Alert series of games. I found them an amusing diversion.

I enjoy RPG's the most, but have no real preference regarding real-time battle or not.

The only annoying thing about turn-based battle is that in some games you have to wait through the opponents move, which can take a while. I remeber Civilization 2 very well *shudders*.

Xen, check internet options. I think there is an option where you can stop new windows coming up when you click on links that may have been checked by mistake? (Or maybe I'm thinking of Netscape ).

Anyway I voted real time as well; I'm playing Wizardry 8 atm and it really is frustrating, especially when there are a lot of friendlies 'helping' (ie retreating) which takes forever). And I voted management games, although I like RPGs and strategy (eg civilisation) games equally well. It depends on the game and how I'm feeling at the time. Plus variety is good; I would get bored just playing RPGs all the time.

I managed to open it.

Now to the topic at hand.

What type of game would you consider to be your favorite?
RPG! Altough I enjoy in a good strategy and/or FPS.

When playing games that focus on combat (Strategy, RPG..), do you prefer... ?
Real Time Combat like in BG

ADD] Looking at those results everyone likes RPG all other is 0%.

You're not the only one to know of it, Brainless. It's a fun game, but there are better ones around
Not for free, of course
