You're quite right, I am. Is this Gnomish Kensai one of Imp. Kangaxx's guardians? I thought they were a trio of Liches.

The Kensai has a Vorpal weapon (undroppable! )

When a MODder gives an enemy a cool item, and doesn't see fit to make it droppable/usable by your party, that's a preeeeetttyyyy good clue that it's overpowered. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I knew the Fighter/Illusionist was by Kensai Ryu (who I hope wrote in some connection to Valygar), but this is the first I've heard of a Kensai.

Greenstone Amulets do protect from Stun. How else would they save you from Psionic Blast?

Blast. Looks like I'll use Bolts of Biting instead, and enjoy the Poison Stutter. Happily, Gnomes do not get a bonus to their Save vs. Death.

There was a Gnome Kensai in the party of Kangaxx Guardians? Gee... guess I should have paid more attention when I was vapourising them... I only really noticed the two Liches and that's about it.

Kangaxx's Guardians consist of a high level Archlich (Cleric/Mage), a Lich (Mage, obviously) and three fighters - one of them being, AFAIK, a Gnomish (or was it Dwarven?) Kensai.

Are you Boutte? Or am I misreading who's replying to whom? My response was to whoever put up the 2-column approach... the problem with that formation is that Minsc isn't similarly buffed as is the Cavalier, and so when a mob hits, he'll get double-or-triple-teamed. Since D&D isn't like the real world, where your capacity to inflict damage is dramatically reduced when you're almost dead, that can land Minsc in a world of hurt fast, even if the party is unequivocably winning the battle in its sleep... whereas a T-formation with an active tank would double the amount of targets when the sweep began...
